With 24-hour emergency veterinary care services, you can rest easy knowing your pet will be in good hands whether an emergency occurs on a weekday afternoon, over the weekend, or at night. If your pet is critically injured or ill, our veterinary team will be ready to provide immediate treatment.
Does Your Pet Need Emergency Veterinary Care?
It can be difficult to know when your pet is having a medical emergency and when treatment can wait. If your pet experiences any of the following, seek emergency veterinary care immediately:
Difficulty breathing
Excessive bleeding
Ongoing pain or restlessness
Heatstroke or hypothermia
Poisoning
Persistent vomiting or diarrhea
Prolonged seizures
Traumatic injury
Inability to urinate or defecate
Abdominal swelling

When we receive an emergency patient, we will first provide supportive care to stabilize the pet’s condition. We will then use comprehensive diagnostic tools and techniques to diagnose the illness or determine the extent of injury or illness to provide safe and effective treatment.
What To Do During A Pet Emergency
If you think your pet is having a medical emergency, we recommend contacting Insight Veterinary Wellness Center immediately. Our emergency providers will give you instructions to help stabilize your pet and safely transport him or her to our hospital. We will also prepare to receive your pet so we can begin treatment as soon as you arrive. If possible, bring your pet’s medical records, medications, and packaging from anything harmful that may have been ingested.
