Meet The Groomers
DAY SPA & SALON MANAGER
Rebecca began grooming at Petsmart in 2014. She prides herself on her detail work and really enjoys spending special one on one time with the dogs.
Since the beginning of her career, she has been volunteering her time at Bradshaw Animal Shelter grooming dogs who are in search of their forever homes.
Rebecca has also recently added cat grooming to her skill set. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her two dogs, cat, parrot, guinea pig, and tortoise.
ANDREW
PET STYLIST
Andrew began grooming professionally in 2016 after a year of bathing dogs at Petsmart. Since then he has furthered his education by attending Groom Expo West and completing the AKC S.A.F.E groomer certification.
Andrew doesn’t stop obsessing about dogs off the clock and is training his puppy, Wraith, to compete in the sport of French Ring. His other dog, a rescue called Willie, has struggled with stress and reactivity in the grooming salon.
Because of this, Andrew prides himself on creating as comfortable an experience as he can for his more stressy clients.
JORDYN
PET STYLIST
Jordyn began in the Dog grooming industry back in 2015 as a bather and trained to become a groomer in 2016. She grew up very involved in the animal industry but never had the desire to be in the veterinary hospital field so found dog grooming to be a great fit! She enjoys working with dogs without having to be on the medical side of it. Dog grooming allows her to work with dogs every day, which she enjoys, while also helping the dog look and feel their best after their groom! Besides grooming dogs she also trains horses! While training horses is a side job it is also something she thoroughly enjoys.
SASHA
PET STYLIST
Sasha grew up in the area and has always enjoyed working with animals and watching dogs being groomed. She was determined to get a position as a groomer and worked hard to finally achieve that.
She has a loving husband and a wonderful son. She’s always looking into new grooming ideas as well as creative grooming. In her free time, she enjoys art and being outdoors with her family.
LAYNI BEAL
PET STYLIST
Layni’s intense love of dogs started very early in life, being given an AKC breed book at the age of 2. They read this book to look at the beautiful photos so many times the spine fell apart. They began their grooming career as a bather at PetSmart at the end of 2011 and were sent to the Grooming Academy early in 2012. They quickly developed a love of learning breed-specific haircuts and began to specialize in terrier patterns and hand stripping the coat. They continued this education by participating in dog shows, learning how to groom and exhibit many different breeds of dogs from Chihuahuas to Irish Wolfhounds. They took a break from grooming for a while in 2017 to focus on training for an organization that specialized in service dogs for people with disabilities, before ultimately deciding to come back to grooming. Today they still show dogs, specifically Curly-Coated Retrievers, and participate in a wide variety of dog sports from scent work to obedience to dock diving. Due to their experience with training, they are excellent at grooming dogs that are a bit more nervous, turning a potentially scary experience into a more positive one.
