In order to ensure that your pets are healthy enough to travel safely with no communicable or regional diseases found, a domestic Health Certificate is required by many states and airlines. Each airline has a different set of criteria, so you will want to research the specific requirements that will apply to your situation. Insight Veterinary Wellness Center is able to issue official Health Certificates to our patients following a regular exam.
If you’re leaving the country, you will likely need special USDA or EU documents or Rabies titer testing. These special forms usually must be issued within 10 days of travel and stamped at the local USDA office.
As a USDA-accredited veterinary practice, Insight Veterinary Wellness Center can provide the travel documentation necessary for international travel.
To get started, click here and enter your destination country. If you are traveling within the US, you will enter your destination state lower on the page. Select “View Requirements” and they will provide you with a list of all of the paperwork you must have in place in order to bring your pet into that country or state.
Please contact the state USDA Office prior to your visit to get the most up-to-date information on the requirements for your pet entering into a specific country. Click here for information on what to expect prior to travel. For a list of country requirements, click here.
NOTE: It is important that you do this with plenty of time before your trip, as some countries have requirements that require extensive planning and preparation.
